Robyn Palermo – Principal
Robyn has been in the accounting and taxation industry for over twenty eight years and has lived locally for over thirty eight years. Her experience has enabled her to be proficient in advising on areas of business structures, taxation complexities, business transactions and tax planning strategies. Robyn is a ‘Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants’ and a Registered Tax Agent.
Robyn prides herself on her ability to discuss strategies and areas of accounting and tax at a level that is easy to understand and relevant to the individual clients situation.
She believes that the team at Sound Tax and Accounting have the expertise and qualifications to assist all clients whatever their needs.
Greg Hislop – Accountant
Greg has been with Sound Tax and Accounting since 1999. He has a vast knowledge in all facets of taxation and accounting procedures, working with any structure from Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Company Tax returns.
He has a keen eye for detail and his ability to work with clients to achieve the best outcome and business strategy is impressive. The size of the tax and accounting requirements does not concern him as he can assist you with whatever is needed while building a close understanding and rapport with each client
Greg is genuinely concerned with achieving the best outcome for the client. This is recognised by the number of referrals that he receives from his existing clients.
Deborah Jeffrey – Accountant
Deb has been working in the tax accounting industry for over thirty years. She has seen many changes over the years and currently specialises in Individual, Partnership, Trust, Company and Self Managed Superannuation Fund tax returns including the preparation of financial reports and Business Activity Statements. She is approachable and easy to talk to and has helped many clients sort out their tax and accounting affairs to get them back on track and up to date with ATO compliance issues.
Many clients have left Deb’s office with huge smiles on their faces grateful that she has helped them to not only understand their tax position but to manage their finances efficiently.
Renae Hutcheson – Assistant Accountant
Renae is our newest member of staff and prior to her appointment worked over twenty years within the local government and corporate banking sectors. She is currently undertaking further study towards graduate degree in taxation and accounting. She is here to assist with your financial, bookkeeping and tax reporting requirements. Her enthusiastic approach to her work has made her one of the team and has a genuine interest to all her clients tax and accounting needs.
Sandra Tonkin – Bookkeeper / Administration
Sandra is on hand to make appointments and assist you with general enquiries. She also liaises with the Australian Tax Office and provides bookkeeping to all our accountants. Her hands-on work ethic approach ensures that she obtains the knowledge of your business to deliver excellent record keeping.
Carlie Jackson – Administration
Carlie has been with Sound Tax and Accounting for nine years. She will assist you with appointments and signing of documents as well as direct you towards our accounting staff. Her friendly and welcoming demeanour sets you at ease from the moment you enter our office. Carlie is currently studying towards a Diploma of Accounting.
